SupportMesh Docs
Support Items, Products, and Projects
Model each supported product or project once, then reuse that context across tickets, releases, downloads, and knowledge.
Products and projects share one model
Support Items are the workspace records that represent the products and projects your company supports. A product and a project share the same operational foundation in the current product.
Important boundary
Project support items do not turn SupportMesh into a project-management tool. They exist to keep support records aligned with the right implementation context.
Versions
Support item versions can be created and associated with tickets and releases. The product does not require a specific semantic-versioning scheme in this phase, so use the version labels that fit your support process.
Client assignment
A client organization can only work with support items that are assigned to it. That assignment affects ticket selection and also scopes related content such as releases, downloads, and knowledge base visibility where those features are enabled.
